Important Resident Portal Login Information

Dear Homeowners,

We understand that some residents are experiencing difficulties accessing their Resident Portal. Please review the information below before contacting our office, as it should help resolve most login issues.

Resident Portal Access

Please use Google Chrome when accessing your Resident Portal:

https://hoaservicesinc.managebuilding.com/Resident/public/home

Important: You must use the Google Chrome browser when logging in. If a verification or password reset email is sent to you, please open that email using the same Chrome browser session to help ensure the process completes successfully.

How to Sign In

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Navigate to: https://hoaservicesinc.managebuilding.com/Resident/public/home
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Complete the required Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) setup.
  5. Choose one of the following verification methods:
    • Authentication App (Google Authenticator, Duo Mobile, or Authy)
    • Text Message Verification
    • Automated Phone Call
  6. Verify the method you selected.
  7. Enter the one-time verification code provided.
  8. Select "Remember My Device" to avoid entering a code every time you log in from that device.

Please note: This verification process only needs to be completed once per device. If you use multiple devices, you will need to verify each device the first time you log in.

Authentication App Setup (Recommended)

If you select Authentication App, follow these steps:

Step 1: Download an Authentication App

Install one of the following applications on your smartphone or tablet:

Google Authenticator
Duo Mobile
Authy

Step 2: Scan the QR Code

Open the authentication app.
Tap the "+" icon or Add Account.
Select Scan QR Code.
Use your device's camera to scan the QR code displayed on the Resident Portal.
You may be prompted to create a password or security method within the app.

Step 3: Obtain Your Verification Code

Once the account is added, select it within the authentication app.
A 6-digit verification code will be displayed.
The code changes approximately every 30 seconds.
If the code changes before you enter it, simply use the new code that appears.

Step 4: Complete Login

Enter the current 6-digit code into the Resident Portal.
Click Verify or Continue to complete setup.

Having trouble scanning the QR code? Most authentication apps allow you to manually enter the setup key displayed on the screen.

Text Message Verification

If you choose Text Message Verification, Buildium requires a secondary phone number that is different from the phone number receiving the verification text. Without a second phone number on file, you may not be able to complete the setup process.

Troubleshooting Common Errors

Email Not Recognized

Confirm you are using the exact email address registered with your account. If your email address has recently changed, please contact HOA Services.

Wrong Phone Number for 2FA

Contact HOA Services and request the "Skip During Next Sign In" option. This temporarily bypasses 2FA for 24 hours, allowing you to log in and update your phone number under:

My Account ? Security

Lost Access to Your Authentication Method

Contact HOA Services and request a temporary bypass. Once logged in, update your security settings immediately.

Repeated Code Prompts

Ensure you select "Remember My Device" when signing in from a trusted device.

Additional Information

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is required for all Resident Portal users.
Property managers cannot permanently disable 2FA.
For account privacy and security, residents should contact HOA Services directly for login assistance.
